Jail for short skirts in Uganda
Women in Uganda who wear short skirts may be sentenced to pay fine of 10 millions Ugandian
Ugandan shillings (2 500 paunds), imprisonment of 10 years or both, according to new law.
If this law is accepted, so-called Law against pornography censors, censors will watch films and serials in advance, in order to decide what can let go for wider audience.
Author of this new law is Simon Lokodo, minister of ethics and integrity. According to him, all clothes which reveal an intimate parts of the human body is illegal. All over the knee is illegal. If a woman wears mini skirt we will arrest her.
The idea for these strong measures was supported by the deputy of the main public prosecutor – Fred Ruhindy. Lokondo completes that, according to the new nomrs, stars like Beyonce or Madonna yet won’t have access to the TV of Uganda. In the country would be bring in new control system for “hot urls” on internet in order all of their followers to be tracked.
